Crossover cable internet connection sharing windows 7




















My guess is that it has something to do with security. I saw a suggestion that adding a gateway on the Windows 7 machine was the answer. I did this an saw the indation that I now had internet connectivity; but when I went to the XP I still got the same message.

Please post if you find the answer. Does it indicate that you have allowed internet access on the "public" or "work" network? This is done by putting in a default gateway. This assumes that you have established internet access on the Windows 7 computer. Requires a Crossover cable even with with Connectivity? Ok heres my situation..
