Vmware sata driver for xp

I can't keep a connection anywhere near long enough to download that. I'll try to have my son burn and mail me a copy, which is how I got SP2. When I did this before with nLite, I had copied the SP2 exe to my hard drive and was slipstreaming from it, or so I thought. It turns out that the file was never merged.

I was able to burn a bootable disk and install XP to my second hard drive just dandy. I need XP to run one legacy antenna analysis program and Autocad Lite. Otherwise, I'm not about to reinstall all of the stuff I have running under Vista at the moment, so I simply wanted to have a dual-boot option. Now I've discovered that XP will wipe out all of my Vista restore points, so I need to think about this some more. Browse Community. Turn on suggestions. All forum topics Previous Topic Next Topic. Yeah, you're not quite doing it right. There's no dual booting - a VM is a set of files that are run by a program player, in this case , so your questions are nonsensical. That make more sense? You missed the point of my 'non sensical' question. Does that make sense??

Once you proceed to the next screen, now we can finally finish the process. You can choose to directly burn the cd here, or you can select Create Image to create an ISO file that you can burn to a CD using whatever burning tool you have.

Guess nobody has alerted them to get with the program. We can still extract the drivers using an application called WinImage. I downloaded and ran the executable, which extracted a file called f6flpy So how to get the drivers out of this file?

There are a few options that you can try, depending on how the manufacturer packed the files. You can use Winimage to extract them, which is a shareware software, but you can use it during the trial period for free. You can try and use WinRar to extract the file. Some drivers will allow you to automatically extract into a directory. Other methods? Start WinImage and then open the file, and you should see the contents.

Just extract them to a folder, preferably with a useful name so you can remember it later. Good luck with your installation, and be sure to leave any support questions on the forum. Download WinImage from Winimage. Windows can install the required driver only from a diskette drive. Extract the seven driver files from the ZIP package to a folder on your desktop.

Copy the seven driver files to a blank diskette. Once the files have been copied, eject the diskette from the drive.
